Acrylic face mount is one of the most impressive and captivating ways to display your photographic print. We use metallic paper as a default for printing, prints get mounted on gallery grade Shinkolite acrylic, with protective forex backing and floating hanging system.
With the image mounted behind the acrylic and seen through it, light refracts in such a way that makes the colour pop providing a near 3-D effect. With right lighting, it almost appears as if the piece is illuminated from behind. This cannot be achieved with direct printing or glass in traditional frames. Acrylic face mounts increase colour and visual intensity of the image.
Acrylic face mount prints are 99% UV protected, weather resistant, resistant to breakage if dropped (due to no glass used), and come ready to hang.
Float frame stretched canvases gives the artwork the appearance of floating within the frame without touching it, giving a greater sense of dimensional depth. Our float frame canvas’, like all of our products are archival quality, created to last a lifetime on your walls by our good friends at Artist Avenue. They come with UV protection and protected with a coating so that you can spray and clean the canvas material without damaging it.
