Description
One of my many beautiful Snow Gums (Eucalyptus pauciflora) in Kosciuszko National Park. This particular one was taken on Dead Horse Gap under what would normally be quite miserable conditions. However, these snow gums look their best in the rain and fog, when the wet bark makes the colours pop and shine. I’ve named this one Hydra because of my childhood fascination with mythology and the Hydra having one huge body and multiple heads, like this snow gum appears to have.
