Bateau Bay Beach is the beach that I call home. Nothing can be more Australian than Bateau Bay Beach. With Wyrrabalong national park completely surrounding it, the beach is the more calming beach you can think of when it comes to surrounding yourself with the Australian East-Coast environment.

Bateau Bay Beach also has the only brackish mangrove vegetation group in all of the coastline in New South Wales, which is around 2,137kms of Coastline. The brackish mangrove vegetation only occurs when the salty saline water of the ocean and fresh spring water from the steep hills in Wyrrabalong mix together.
